Jeffrey Glossip creates large-scale nonobjective paintings, using oil, vinyl emulsion, enamel, and acrylic on canvas and other media, he finds the balance in his abstract compositions. His work has been exhibited at galleries and museums worldwide, including Berkeley Art Center; Gallery Gabrichidze, Belgium; Marin Museum of Contemporary Art; and the Philadelphia Center for the Book. Glossip received a BFA from the University of Iowa and an MFA from San Francisco Art Institute. He also studied painting and critical theory at Lancaster University in the UK. Most recently he has donated work to ROOT Division in San Francisco, California, in support of youth outreach programs and to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, in support of ongoing research.
