The inner child is something we all have. Some of us lose it as we mature and some are able to maintain or hold onto some of that inner child. I feel it is important to hold onto joy but even more so when you’ve had to go through HELL to find your joy. Those smiles, those laughs, those warm feelings, are so much bigger on the other side of trauma.
Out The Mud is also something many of us in the Black Community understand. We know what we have had to go through to find true joy and many of us are still working through the mud for it.
