I don’t swim very well, so couldn’t send you a message in a bottle. So, I hope this reaches you.
I included a poppy flower and pod/bud, to represent a memorial or remembrance of a missing parent.
Growing up without a parent is traumatic. Systematically, there is historical systems and programming to hinder two parent households in minority communities. Drugs, alcohol and poverty all play a role. Anyways, I hope this work isn’t just seen but is felt.
