In the 1980s, Sandro Figueroa, known as Sen2 in the artworld, developed a fascination with graffiti, color and letter forms took a hold of his dreams. He moved to New York from Santurce, Puerto Rico, where he joined the most famous graffiti crew ever assembled to date: Tats Cru. Sen2 has created art for music videos for artists, including Jennifer Lopez, Nas, and Missy Elliot, and has worked with former presidents and Robert DeNiro, to name a few. With Tats Cru, Sen2 travelled the globe.
For the US Open 50 Year Anniversary, Sen2 transformed Highland Park Tennis Courts in Brooklyn with his invigorating work. And most recently, he partnered with Adidas and Real Madrid Foundation for special edition kits. Real Madrid, considered the Best Club of the 20th Century by the Federation Internationale de Football Association (FIFA), wore these jerseys, in their signature white, with numbers created from the work of Sen2. The federation sponsors social education projects and e-learning platforms, and also helps fund street art which is auctioned to sustain their efforts in 90 countries around the globe. Sen2 Studio is in the Bronx, NY, where he currently resides.
