Thomas Daniel Riefe is an artist living in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He received a BFA, with an emphasis on sculpture, from the University of Northern Iowa; and an MFA in Sculpture from Washington University in St. Louis, MO. Riefe has exhibited throughout the Midwest, and has outdoor work in the permanent collections of the cities of Rock Island, Illinois; Souix City, Iowa; and Cedar Falls, Iowa. His work, Quake, is held in a private Des Moines, Iowa, collection. Towards Tomorrow is on display for the Restoration Ingersoll’s public art project in Des Moines, IA, as well. Riefe’s awards include: the 2015 Art on the River Viewers Choice Award, Dubuque, Iowa; and a 2017 Collaborative Technology Center Grant, Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri.
