Multi-media artist Justin Beller is known for work that represents both the physicality of space and the metaphysics of dreamlike states. His paintings, wall installations and plinth-like towers use vertical and horizontal lines, blocks of colors and repeating circles to distill the essence of earth, sky and water. Movement, form, freedom and time are integral components of his work, combining to expand and extend confined interior spaces. Beller’s free-standing sculptures and tapered wall installations similarly create the illusion of greater openness by bringing viewers’ gaze upwards and outwards, creating greater spatial awareness and a deeper appreciation of immediate surroundings. Frequently commissioned by private collectors as well as corporate and small businesses, Beller maintains a studio in Benson, one of the fastest expanding arts districts in Omaha, Nebraska.
